Yeoman's personality In the prologue starts when two man overtake them, one was Canon and other one was yeoman. The host tells the Canon to tell a tale but the yeoman tells them that he knows more about mirth and jollity. The yeoman starts telling about his honorable Canon. At first we think that yeoman is very respectful to his master. He tells the group that the Canon is an alchemist. The host starts asking questions about the Canon, such as why he dresses in dark and has a discolored face. The yeoman tells him that he believes that overdone dress-sense is a vise and he spend his extra time blowing in the fire. This suggests that the Canon is very intelligent and knows about Gold and Silver.
While the Yeoman was talking, the Canon drew near and heard everything. The Canon tells him to hold his peace and stop telling things that should not be told. The host forces him to tell everything that he knows. The Canon realizes that the yeoman would not be silent so he runaway from them. He then tells how the Canon has taken people's gold, but never could make more gold from it. The yeoman tells the company that he will tell everything he knows.
The yeoman changes his personality through the tale. He was very respectful to his masters but times goes, he starts to disliking him.
